As with anything there are pluses and minuses.
The jacks can be precarious, injure or kill someone when the TC is all the way up and there are problems associated with loading and some jack failures.
The TC is going to be a couple /few more stair steps to get into as well is climbing up into the bed.
If all you are going to do is go hunting to the same places you always go.... I would keep the 5th wheel put the money in a mutual fund.
Something I want to say also.... if you have a good working rv and does not leak... just hang on to it. I bought new and she was a real problem for me laced with factory bs.
