Just realized that I am getting off track with what I originally had in mind. My original plan was to sell my diesel next year and "go new" with a gasser for my possibly last vehicle since I am 70 years old. My plan was to get rid of the fiver soon which would eliminate the need for a diesel then step down to a smaller bumper pull that could be pulled with a 1/2 ton PU once I sold the diesel, but then I began thinking of a TC since I could pull one of my two boats with that arrangement.
Bottom line, I think I should be looking for a TC that will go on a short bed 1/2 ton with which I could use my 3/4 ton for now. I'm sure that will cut down on my options tremendously, but probably best that I go with a popup TC to save weight.
