I have a 2018 Northern Lite 8-11 EXSE drybath, which weights in at 2750 lbs. I have it on my 2017 GMC 4x4 extended cab, short box pickup. I installed a Torklift receiver hitch and a 48” Torklift Supertruss hitch extension. The back of the camper and back deck of the camper stick out the back of the box of the truck approximately 44”. I haul my 2 up snowmobiles trailer, my Side X Side and trailer as well I haul my son inlaws 21 ft fishing boat around. I have never had or felt I have had an issue with towing anything behind me with this truck/ camper/ hitch set up.
The only mods I did were add Timbren SRS rubber overload springs to the truck. And added a rear view camera to the ladder on the camper so I can see what’s happening with the trailer I am towing, when traveling.
