Truck Camper Cover needed, Recommendations?

I am on my second year with a Classic with know signs of wear...Infact,I tuck the sides into the wheel wells and drive it around town to the store and errands, with it on the truck...One of the perks of living in a red neck town.(laffin)

That's a pretty good strategy. I might try the Classic one more time and use the warranty.
Did you buy direct from Classic or Amazon?

My wife says she got it direct from Walmart. When it started falling apart, she contacted Classic about the warranty.

Our problem was fabric failure on the sunny side of the camper only.

If you get another one, be sure to take a picture of the attached tag on it. It has a number that Classic will need to honor the warranty.
No Number, no warranty. And it soon fades from view.

My lovely wife had a picture of the tag in her camper file. She does things like that.:C

Don't throw the old cover away. Cut the waterproof top off of it and use it to cover something else. It's still very good!

I went to Classics website and saw where they also have a "pre-registration" for warranty issues. I looked on my Amazon orders and I bought it January of 2016. I will get the number off that loop and probably give them a call soon. I just had to put Gorilla tape on a new rip.
10-4 on that top section being good. I cut it out of the last cover and use it to cover about 75% of the GoDevil boat. It sits outside in my fenced off "junkyard" with the 5th wheel, Bigfoot and utility trailer.

I've gone through several ADCO covers. They usually only last 3 years. I can't really recommend them because they are heavy and hard to install and remove but they do fit well and shelter the camper when it's stored outside for the winter. I should probably spend the big bucks and get something made of Sunbrella fabric.

Oh man compared to that I have no complaints. I just have 2 rips on the front.
My camper is facing east, has no southern protection, the 5th wheel throws shade on the north side, and the west side gets late afternoon shade from the woods.

markchengr: Yeah I have a ADCO about 5 years old in the barn from a previous 5th wheel that lasted 1 summer before it ripped on a corner. It was very heavy. I need to cut the top out of it and throw the rest away.

Classic makes 2 different styles of covers. I have only used the Polypro that has a heavier top. They also make the PermaPro. From pics, it is a different material. It's advertised as a lightweight rip stop fabric. Costs a bit more. Has anyone used this?

None of them shed snow. You need a slick surface that's sloped and tight to shed any snow..

I just emailed this company and requested a quote for a cover for my Wolf Creek 840. They replied back the next day ... $650. That is three times the price of the cover I bought at the RV dealership.

But, it will last much longer than 3 times the cover you bought at the Rv dealership.
