That's the trade off: better clearance but super fragile, or a bit less clearance and tough.
I think it'll go about anywhere someone carrying a big hardside wants to go. I don't think my lift hangs any lower than my diffs already do anyway. Here's mine:
You might want to look at both pictures a little closer. Yours tucks up no closer then the one I posted. Compare the gap below the body at the rear in the two pictures. Both are determined by how far below the frame the rear hitch sits and appear to be within an inch of each other.
