Many of these folks ask the same question of us, "What makes it such a great idea to have a big box on our trucks?"
I have the vehicles and equipment to do either. I prefer my 11.5 foot TC, but it cannot go everywhere I want to go. I prefer my tent cot on the ground, but appreciate the option of having it on top of my Samurai, under certain conditions. The main draw for me is having different options.
