Truck Camper on Gooseneck Trailer

Just bare in mind that trailers >10k lb require CDL and I don't think you can get flatbed trailer reclassified as an RV.
So in CA you will need 26k weight stickers and those cost about $400 every single year.

I'm currently working on a spin on this. Picked up a Hide A Way that is being set up on my bumper pull PJ CC20 with room on the back for my Jeep.

If there's a rear overhang that drops below the truck bed level, you can always set the camper up on a platform so that it will clear the trailer bed.

I think it's a viable option if there's no vertical overhang and it can but put up front on the GN. Although I guess side ramps for loading Toyz in front would work, would just look weirder than a TC on a GN already looks.

My buddy used to haul his camper on a flatbed trailer mostly because he had an old Chevy half-ton with a Cadillac 500 in it, had plenty of power but couldn't carry the weight.
We found out that having all that extra deck space was awesome!
We carried quads, tools, water, sometimes even couches. You know how great it is to have real couches at your campsite?!!

I would like to see that picture. I always thought that would be a great way to transport the camper. I just wonder with my camper if it would all fit on the trailer or since I have an overhang off the truck, would I have to have it hang off the back of the trailer.
