When you did park it at home was it inside or outside? If outside, then I think the deciding factor would be the security of the inside lot versus the outside lot. Does the inside lot provide enough additional security to justify the $1200?
If not, then I say go with the outside lot, stop by and check on the camper a bit more often, and spend a day at the end of each season doing a thorough maintenance check (checking seams, windows, roof, etc., and re-sealing, washing, as necessary). Save the $1200 for more camping trips.
