Budster's pic that Joerg68 posted is a great picture of them setup, and yes where I got the idea from.
Not sure why my link didn't work, but most people here IIRC throw them under the camper when traveling. I took them and cut notches into the sides so they would "lock" into the 2x2 platform I built to raise my camper up over the cab of my truck. Saves weight as I'm not doubled up with wood on the platform, keeps the platform nice and light for moving it in and out of the truck and makes traveling with these things way easier.
