I don't see WI-FI source in your setup.
I am paying $400/year for my modem with unlimited data, but if there is update for the option, I would love to hear it.
My modem works without any additional gadgets. Just charge it from USB.
My setup is for accessing WiFi signals at long range and "repeating" them over a private virtual network. Like parking at a mall parking lot and using free wifi from stores inside or boosting the wifi signal from a campground. It's not a gateway to an ISP.
If I wanted to use my cell phone's data, I have 4 gigabytes per month and this would work for that but I would probably just use my cellphone's hotspot capabilities.
Sorry, I misunderstood the title.
I have no need for repeater the way you describe it but last year I bought a
WI-FI CONVERTER simply becouse I needed solid cable to send my thermometer data on the net.
Looks like you are educated in all those gizmos, when I rather stay with my mechanical skills.
So is my converter capable of doing the same your system does?
