Truck camper with utility bed???

As Clint Eastwood once said, "Do you feel lucky?" I do not know from experience, but it is my understanding it is a very stiff fine if cited for not going through the scales. My guess is they would probably just ignore you, but not worth the drama. Keep in mind, a TC in California is cargo. A utility bed loaded with lumber, plumbing, or any other stuff is cargo. So is the TC.

From experience, I do know you have a different registration with a non-pickup bed.
