Don’t have any close up pictures of that connection, Had to take off the factory tie downs as they were under the side overhang and would have dented the top of the bins, drilled a hole in the front jack bracket and put in a “quick link” chain link , have a short piece of chain and a turnbuckle onto another quick link to the truck tie down. The factory brackets were just lag bolted with two small lags(1/8”) in each bracket(Not very solid). As I stated “It doesn’t move a bit” I will try get some pictures later for you.
I don’t understand why there are issues with the DOT down there. Unless you are running commercial plates here you don’t have to stop at any scales, What about the guys with those “Diesel Pusher” motor homes, they are in a way heavier class than we are. Don’t see any of them at the Scales?
I don't stop at scales here in PA with my DRW 1 ton GMC dump truck.
