All good opinions in this discussion..thank you. I have had a recent replacement of the steering stabilizer
(was feeling the road thru my steering wheel) as mentioned earlier probably multi factoral.
In the Phoenix metroplex there are two seasons...hot and road work. When the local authorities decide
on road work they block out huge stretches for many miles, put a two-year plan in to effect, cut the number
of available lanes down to two then ignore any repair on those two lanes for the duration. Ruts, chucks,
pot holes, debris, humps and bumps, loose gravel and general un-eveness...(ie no alpha waving while driving...
both hands on the wheel at all times and hyper alertness a requisite).
So, yes, i agree, the road environment plays a contributory role....even if I don't off-road.
