Until just a few months ago, there was no good way to enter a travel trailer complaint at the NHTSA website. RV products and manufacturers were not listed in the pull down choices of vehicles. This is now fixed.
I contacted an NHTSA engineer about my concerns about RV trailer tire overloading. They appear to be pursuing the issue. Slowly.
I made a complaint to the NHTSA and found that they just don't give a rat's ptootie till the body count gets real high.
