Sidewall stress on LT tires some say its not very good . Lets think about this . Most 3/4 and 1 ton trucks use LT tires . Quite a few put snowplows on these trucks , a plow weighs 300 pounds , more with the framework thats on the truck . It sticks out 3 ft in front of the truck . The front wheels of the truck turn giving pretty good sidwall forces . Now , I will go into a 30 MPh offramp with my plow on at 30 MPH . The LT tires handle it with ease . Would I go into that same turn with a heavy trailer with ST tires at the same speed .
