true hemi gas mileage ?
Looking at a Dodge 2500 series, 5.7 hemi, 373 gear, 4wd, to pull a small travel trailer. Any true life empty gas mileage figures would be greatly appreciated.

2014 2500 5.7. I get 18 to 21 flat ground empty doing 60 hwy.
towing 10,500 5th wheel, 8 to 10 flat ground, 60 hwy.
Last trailer with this truck was 8500 and I got around 2mpg better towing and 20-22 flat ground empty at 60 mpg flat ground. Speed is important for optimum mileage.
