Sounds like you are aware of the potential issues.
Talk to some people who have actually done this, sounds like you know some. You will have to invest some money in skirting, heat pads, etc. You may need one (or 2) of the large Olympian Wave heaters in addition to electric heat to make it.
Find a good used trailer if you can.
There is a guy (Bob Wells) founder of cheaprvliving.com who lived in a box truck in Alaska for a few years. Go over to that site and find lots of good info on heating, keeping things from freezing, etc.
