Trying to narrow down a short list of SUV for wife

She currently has a 2009 Escape and it's getting passed down to son. So far she has looked at: Toyota Highlander...really likes Toyota 4 Runner..Probably the preferred choice Ford Explorer..not in...

You can't really go wrong with a Toyota or going with what the wife prefers ;) We've had 2 4Runners in the past and they were reliable, rock solid vehicles.
