It's not so much for the tires as is it for the undercarriage. With A MH, park it on grass for long periods of time and you're looking at rusty brake calipers, exhaust etc on the undercarriage.
Bottom line in my experience parking any RV directly on the ground is eventually going to cause some problems from the moisture/rusting.
Perfect world is concrete pad under the whole RV. A real perfect world if up North, concrete pad and under roof.
