I agree with everything CAMPERTIME said in his first reply.
Few things to keep in mind with the hybrid, in YOUR SITUATION:
- you're gaining lots of floor space, as the beds are always made you generally don't have to pull a sofa bed or fold down the table to make another bed.
- bunkends are separate bedrooms
- you've camped in a popup for some time now. While people feel that hybrids take up lots of time to set up and take down, believe me it is considerably less time.
- wet canvas: if you folded down when canvas was wet, once home, you don't have to open up the whole pop up! Just beds.
- Jayco/StarCraft and many other manufacturers make nice 17' lightweight hybrids.
- However I will not comment on the towing capacity of your Pathfinder as I'm not familiar with that vehicle. Other posters' opinions are valuable here
