Everyone we have talked to on our travels say not to use a cover. They can scratch or hold in moisture and cause mildew issues.
The "Everyone's" we have talked to have all been RV dealers and a manufacturer.
I have to add, I have not seen one used on any RV in our area. The only thing we saw was an RV wrapped like a present with a tarp and duct tape. Obviously, there will be issues with that TT.
If they work for people that's great. I would think that where you live, weather conditions etc would make a difference. It might be best to see how others in your region store their RV.
