Tulsa to Colorada Springs disaster in the panhandle

Some times I just need to post what can go wrong will... Tulsa to Colorado Springs 12 hours of driving. every fuel stop plotted and tires aired to max 80 psi in the truck and trailer Goodyears aire...

I wonder if your tire gauge could be inaccurate, causing you to overinflate? Heat should not have raised it 10 psi. 5 psi more likely. Maybe they started at 85 cold.
