Now when the diesel Tundra shows up, the game will change.
Even Nissan will have a far better tow vehicle than Tundra this year with the baby brother Cummins in it. Over 500 foot pounds of torque! Toyota is losing the truck race and it is their fault for not bringing new products to the market. Their sales are off. Drastically.
Apparently they are not watching the market or they would see that RV towing customers want higher gross weights, higher payloads, and diesels or at least more powerful gas engines like the 6.4 Ram Hemi.
Surprising since the Japanese took the motorcycle market by storm in the late 1960's and through the next few decades. They constantly raised the bar upward and expanded the market to include every kind of motorcycle for dirt and road. Same thing with cars,TV's, stereos, electronic stuff. They even raised the bar for jeep type vehicles with the original Land Cruiser. Today the Tundra is a has been, stuck in history, and sales show it. And even more embarassing they named the Tundra after the most fragile eco system on earth???? Really!
