payload likely going to get you. that said might be good enough that you can get away with it if its never really going anywhere.
ride home is going to suck.
payload-tongue weight-cargo-wd hitch > 0 OK < 0 no dice.
remember tongue weight should be roughly 13 percent of loaded trailer. also keep in mind dry weight means nothing. I tow with a half ton with more "towing capacity" than that and I would assume more payload, still wouldn't want that much trailer for my truck.
