Finally had a chance to load the camper this afternoon. I'm very happy how level it is but have an issue with the Tork lift front tie downs. The turn buckle touches the fender... I was going to call Tork Lift in the AM but was going to see if you folks had any solutions. Truck is a 2012 3500 Mega cab with a 2006 Lance 881 Max. I'll post pictures when I get to work.

If you switch the stinger to the other side of the truck so the tab is pointing the other way will it still touch?

I was going to switch the stinger to the other side but I have no access to the tops of the bolts that hold it. It has nylon lock nuts on them.Yes the Tork Lifts are installed on the last hole. Im wondering if Tork lift can make me a set of longer "arms"? An inch longer would solve my issue.

Sooo I guess I missed the fix- did you order the 'extended reciever from Torklift? or something else in transit from Torklift?

Best to change your Facebook name to the proper spelling of Cummins, those guys are touchy about the spelling.

lol. As you may or may not know Im a Ford guy. I loved my 6.0 and would out run and make fun of all the Cummins guys at the track. I even moderate a Facebook page call "C is for Cummings"

It was hard choice to move to a Ram. I lost friends even...but the Ford 350 SRW was 10K more then the Ram dually. I call it a budget issue.

Thanks for the help guys.

I was only joking about only having rear tie downs...tough crowd..

I took the truck out for a slow ride last night and must say the dually is the way to go...(I should start a DRW is better them SRW post) lol.

Ill post pictures once everything is in. We are headed to Canada next month...

The stinger is the male part of the system.
Moor, why don't you post a pic, the stinger, of how you have it when it
hits.
Unless you plan to leave the stinger in place, why use bolts and nuts to secure it. A pin and a safety is the usual way.

I had the same issue, short bed dually...... torklifts don't have the reach needed. I built up a set of frame tiedown brackets my self. even with the custom brackets I carefully center the TC and end up with an 3/4 of an inch clearance on each side.
