Hehehe .... I am sure we all would love to have a nice diesel truck, and a dally if we had the space but there is a huge difference in price and some in costs between the trucks OP is looking at and the truck you are talking about. Personally, I'd like to get a nice diesel Super Duty with 800 ft.lbs torque, but at a price approaching $60k it ain't happening. I am hesitant to buy a tow vehicle second hand. Maybe the OP is thinking along the same lines. With a 6000# trailer he should be good with the 6-speed he is asking about.
