Yes, the F250 would make a better overall tow vehicle! It will be heavier, with heavier suspension, much stronger frame, more stable E-rated tires, all of which will help in windy towing. It will also come with a lower geared differential, great towing mirrors, and an integrated brake controller.
The downside is more fuel cost, when not towing, and a stiffer ride. If your truck is a daily driver, and you don't tow often, or long distances, you have to decide if a HD tow vehicle is what you want.
I enjoy driving my 250, get about 8-10 mpg towing, and about 15 mpg empty at 65-70 mph.
