You can hire an independent RV tech to do an inspection and be a part of your walk-through.
There was an independent tech who did an inspection on our resale unit we bought last year. He probably did pretty good, but since he was getting paid by the dealer there were things missed (but he's done some free/low-cost repairs for us to make up for it)
