Fan-freakin'-tastic! (utterly delightful fits as well) Thank you for that post; I thoroughly enjoyed all of it especially your commentary. Not too many "been there done that's" in it for me either. I've been to Big Bend (way too briefly) have been in oil fields, been to Nawlin's and into the bayou in Cajun land before, but I love all the places and stops you made that are unique and rarely visited. I have high hopes to spend more time in the future traveling those back byways and visiting small towns and remote places. Thanks for taking me to some of them on this chilly day with a winter storm brewing over the mountains. I'd rather be out there on the road like you guys were.
