I love the beach and I haven't ruled anything out yet! OHH...St Augustine sounds heavenly but I'm not sure my youngest could handle a trip that far. We could stop off halfway and camp somewhere and make a two day trek out of it but that would lengthen the trip and the cost somewhat. I'm going to look at North Beach too.
