"if it were me I'd go with the Lance, check out the links in Woodglue's signature under her post. IMHO the keystone looks great but isn't up to the construction standards Lance holds with their line. Good luck."
WoodGlue posts good info on this and on Lance Owners Forum. WoodGlue posts are what started me taking a closer look at Lance.
I have a 2013 4-Runner V6. Thanks for the comment on construction quality. The Lance 1685 dry wght is 3405 lbs, the 1885 is 3700 lbs. Both have slides. I haven't been able to see a "live" Lance yet. The Keystone Bullet 204RBS has no slide and dry wght is 3853! And when I looked at the under body, the protection was a plastic looking panel that was sagging somewhat.
Other questions: In your experience, how well do they back up their product with warranty support? Nearest dealer for Lance is 140 miles from my home. I'd hate to have to travel that distance should I need repairs while it's under warranty. I have a wonderful private mechanic with close to 20 years of experience in TTs and RVs. He has maintained both the '03 Sunseeker I had and the '08 Winnebago I am selling. Does Lance reimburse individual businesses? I've e-mailed them with this question but would appreciate response from others who have first hand knowledge.
