My BIL has a 4Runner with V6 and the tow pkg., he towes my boat and his small camper with no issues. The Toyota is a body of frame and fairly rugged - you'd be hard pressed to compare it to other little SUVs on the market who are unibody grocery getters...

Thanks for your response about towing capability. I have the tow package too. I'm relieved I can tow the heavier model with my 4 Runner. The major differences I like about the floor plan of 1885 vs 1685 is the walk around bed, no bunk and more storage.
