We bought a bunkhouse to use as "guest quarters" on an adjacent seasonal site. As it is smaller and easier to heat, we use it in the off season. Great deal on Craigslist, but the jack knife couch was not very comfy. After seeing these, I decided to try something similar with wood - worked like a champ, firming up the seat. https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/product/furniture-fix-trade-sofa-support/1018158701?skuId=18158701
Then, we were in Big Lots and saw something like this (cheaper and a perfect match for the camper) - http://www.target.com/p/braided-pouf-peach-cheek-pillowfort/-/A-51612208 - ahhhh....my recliner!
So, now I can sit on the couch in comfort during the winter months!
