I purchase a 2005 Coachmen..
the rear bumper/tube was rusted inside.
and a broken/beat up hose inside..
I used 3 packs of steel wool.. with old "T" shirt. and a 6 foot wooden shaft..
back and worth a few times... then using "T" shirt and added motor oil . back and forth a few more times...
I still will not put a 40 dollar hose inside it.
a 6 dollar tote box and planning a way to mount it under the frame along with a honey pot.
