Underbed storage
it seems that underbed storage is only used in pop-up campers. Is there some reason for this? It seems like it would be a good place for some more storage, has anyone built some sort of underbed stora...

Maybe however ours (truck camper)had a 1x2 frame 6" tall with paneling sides. 1x4 x full width headers. At the top was a full piano hinge, top of platform was full sheets (top & bottom) of paneling glued to foam and 1x2" laid flat. The top had 2 very long compression cylinders to aid lifting.
