Um .... No, it's not the same. Every video out there shows using the cheater bar to leverage the bar into place, without the bars all the way up on top to start with. That is no help on un-hitching. It is NOT the reverse and the video is fraudulent by having the unhitching word in the title. I do get it though, just am concerned that in some situations it might be difficult to get the tongue up enough to release the bars.
You don't "have" to use the cheater bar!!!! as I said I only used my once!! and not every video shows using the bar as one was posted.
99.9 percent of the time you can raise the jack enough to get the bars on and off with no help. Also get an electric jack if you don't have one
