Based on these results GM's 6.2 should be the high volume engine, but for some reason GM chooses to make it available only to the elite. But I agree it's a brute and it stole the show.
The Ford Eco Boost was behind the GM V8's in fuel economy but put down the most torque of all the engines which is why it receives such positive reports with people who tow. It'll be interesting what the Gen 2 3.5 EB and the 10 speed tranny will do.
The Ram Hemi is starting to show it's age in terms of performance and fuel economy despite it's 8 speed tranny. Perhaps the 6.4 Hemi would be a better choice to compete with.
Toyota 5.7 is ancient in terms of performance and fuel economy and their sales reflect it.
