Dual 3500 pound axles means 7k potentially. None of the vehicles in your proposed list have tow ratings close to that. The Edge 2.0L Ecoboost is 3500 pounds as is Highlander Hybrid. XC90 is about 5200 pounds. I have not seen 2016 Pilot towing specs. The empty weight of about 2500 pounds (I have a 7x14' enclosed cargo trailer) does not leave much weight to add to fill the trailer and keep below manufacturer ratings.
I believe you looking in the wrong class of vehicle for towing a tandem axle trailer. Jeep Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel may fit your desires best. European 6-cyl diesels would be great too (MB ML/BMW X5/VW Touareg/Audi Q5). F-150 Ecoboost 2.7L would also be a good match as would Ram 1500 Ecodiesel.
