Guys, I don't need a WD hitch -- been towing this trailer for over 20 years and never have needed one. Loaded trailer weighs just under 3500 lbs and set it up with 10% on the tongue, right around 350 lbs. Tows perfectly well that way, no sway, rear end of tow vehicle isn't very low (yes of course the springs compress somewhat, but not that much). Rig handles well, no troublesome behavior. So I don't see why I need to be concerned about buying a tow vehicle that can accept a WD hitch, something I will never need. It's overkill. Previous tow vehicles have been 2009 Mazda CX9, 2003 Ford Explorer V8, 1996 Ford Explorer V8, and 1991 Ford Explorer V6. They all towed fine without a WD hitch.
