This project will come to a screeching halt as soon as the OP approaches a trailer manufacturer and asks for an inward opening door. They not only do not have that on the shelf, they are not going to custom build it because it is a certifiably bad idea. They would not want to have to deal with an unhappy customer later on when that customer has water coming in and rotting out the floor in short order.
"Darla" has proven with every single reply to both threads that all she really wants is to talk about "how she wants to build it"......not "what do you think of these ideas".
A better title for the threads would be, "look at what my plans are, I've decided on how to do this, so don't try to talk me out of it"
Okay, when I need a Thread Title Writer the job is definitely yours! Really, is that the best contribution you could make? ... "screeching halt on the inward door?" Here's what you don't know; there are companies out there that build high tech command and operations centers out of cargo trailers employing the latest in specialized equipment, communications, video and sustainability technologies. Check it out... http://www.missourigreatdane.com/mobilecommandtrailers.htm (You don't think the police bring a 1998 Bounder 36s to riot do you?) So if a builder can't engineer reversing the entry door inward then I might wanna keep looking for another builder. By the way an inward opening door has lots of advantages as I point out. It's not a new concept... I did not invent it. Tiny home trailers have them and you'll even find one on the front door of your stick home. Go see if water is coming in? Thanks for your feedback and hang in there! Regards, Darla
OOOOOOOOh snap! Now here is an area where I have irrefutable expertise! I happen to own a 1998 Bounder 36s. (What an ODD coincidence huh?) I also have some riot control training. The police wouldn't bring any mobile command center to the riot, they would bring APCs, non-lethal munitions, riot shields and a boat load of zip ties. The Mobile command centers stay well away from the riot.
If they did for some reason, what could they do with a 15'x8' ghetto-rigged ex lawnmower carrier? Well, in the case of yours I guess they could throw little poop bags at the crowd :B :B :B. Unfortunately they would need a squad of large guys to hold the inward swinging door and keep the mob out. There is plenty of room in the shower to detain a couple of the rabble rousers however!
I'm sure you had a very successful career in the business field. Your nasty rotten core shows through time and time again. You take delight in shutting down others and when you lack a good rebuttal, you wait till later to get a nice little zinger in. Your true colors do show a powerhouse in a backstabbing corporate environment but I highly doubt you have succeeded anywhere else in the giant arena that is life; especially interpersonal relations of any meaning. That could be the reason why you are trying to build a little nutt-box for one and only ever one.
Since in your reply to WETSNAIL, you have decreed (with all the power invested in you by your massive EGO) that grousing and sniping is perfectly fine here (regardless of actual forum rules) and no moderators have contradicted that to point, I am going to really start enjoying myself.
I am confident that my 1998 Bounder 36s will always take me to more fun, good times, happiness, friends and family than your 14'x8' traveling tomb of eternal desolate solitude. ;)
Amen to all that. At least it's good to know you're paying attention. :C -Darla
Hmm, yes. Speaking of paying attention, are you still planning on putting a 15Kbtu A/C unit on that little thing?
