What is there to prevent the thief from simply removing the tire/wheel with the boot on it? It could then be towed with three tires or the spare could be installed. Either get locking lug nuts or a boot that covers the lugs.
You would be better off with this one;
I agree with you. I had preferred the one that covers the lugs, but my husband bought the tire boot lock without consulting me :R :B
