We found the TT we wanted at the Dallas show. We sat down with the dealer to discuss price. They quickly began using unsavory business practices (wanting a $500 check just to "see" about our offer. Wanting us to sign a blank form, etc, etc) while telling us we were getting special show pricing and discounts we would get nowhere else or at any other time. They were also going to charge an extra $2500 for hitch, plug and installation. Needless to say, we walked. A web search found the same TT at another dealer 2 hours away. We drove the next weekend and bought the trailer at a fantastic dealer at about $2000 less than the "special show pricing" in Dallas and got our hitch free, a new plug installed for free, plus were given $100 store credit to purchase any supplies we needed So, our show experience was not so good. Others may have had better luck.
