I guess the idea of over kill eludes me in the previous discussion. Simply put, I installed my Magnum hitch and extension for all the scenarios I haven't thought of. I knew that at some point in the future, I want to put a rubicon on a trailer behind us. If I ever find myself scrambling for control going down a highway at 60 mph, its good to know that a sudden change in direction, won't find the hitch in a damaged condition due to lack of strength/engineering
