The hitch pictured on that truck doesn't really look like anything special. It's a single cross tube with a single receiver and the welded on end caps don't do anything structurally for the hitch. The TL super hitch is superior in every sense IMO and it tows great...I have one with a 46" extension and have towed a 24' loaded to 10k cargo trailer between AK and the lower 48 and all around AK with no issues. TL is THE way to go for towing heavy loads on an extension due to a TC in the bed.
