When I replaced my tims and tires this Spring, I was worried about tire clearance if I went to taller wheels. I ended up with LRE tires and rims in the same size as my LRD. A lift would have eased those worries going to 16.5 or LT wheels, but I have mixed feelings about doing so: I scrape the rear scuff beams on uneven driveways, but like the stablity of a low trailer and small break over angles of the ramp.
