upgrading to mesa ridge

currently in a 2015 keystone laredo tg320 bunk house and looking to get into a rear living trailer. Got our eyes on a mesa ridge mr322rls. 6 years ago we paid 28k for the keystone and have it sold for 26k to a friend. The mesa ridge msrp is 75k and a out the door price of 48k plus taxes. This trailer has a lot of great features but don't know much about Highland rv and mesa ridge. I know trailers (like cars) are still more money now then before but is the mesa ridge really worth the extra price? This trailer checks off just about all the boxes for us except not a lot of storage.
  • Never heard of the brand.

5 years ago, did they exist?

Right now, the RV industry is full of brands that have only been around for a few years.

Typically, as soon as a brand develops a reputation for shoddy build quality and poor customer support, the manufacturer replaces it with a new brand name.
  • Highland Ridge has been around since 2014 when Jayco bought them out.
Prior to that they were Open Range RV.
So, they've been around a long time.

BIL had an Open Range trailer and it held up well for him and his 3 sons/2dogs.
  • Mesa Ridge is identical to Open Range (by model number), just different exterior graphics. Been like this for years.
