Also, I'm curious how hard wiring it up will be. I have LED lights about 2' from the port where I want to put the fan, but when discussing it with a service rep, he said that may overload the circuit, which means I'd have to wire it up elsewhere.
I really don't want to get halfway through this project and find out it won't work and then have to pay someone to finish the job.
Here is a pic of the kitchen area. I'm going to replace the vent with a fan....where should I go for my best hookup IF going to one of the LED lights won't work? The circuit breaker box is under the pantry right where the far corner of the island is blocking the cabinet. Not sure if I Can hook it in there somehow, but that seems like a pain in the ass. Also, note that the stove and microwave are on a slide, so anything on that side I couldn't hook into.
