Buick has been in the top brands for reliability for JD Power a number of times over the years. Nothing new.
In 2015 when we got a new vehicle we had to decide whether to trade in our 2007 Buick with 150K or 2007 Toyota with 50k miles on the odometer. Both were bought new, in 2007.
It was no decision at all, the Toyota even with 1/3 the miles of the Buick, had many expensive electronic issues over our ownership, we traded it in. The Buick, relatively trouble free still so, even though it is rapidly approaching it's 10 year anniversary with us. Touch wood. They (vehicles) all will have issues sooner or later.
We bought the Toyota originally because CR recommended. We have learned.
