Please point out where you see that. Maybe you are comparing a Ford product to a Dodge car, not a RAM truck. The RAM is in the center of the upper half, and not on the bottom with Ford and Dodge.
I would have liked to see where TESLA was in there. Young car company with lots of promise and already a huge exporting base. I know they have a few reliability challenges at this point but it would be nice to see a North American based company succeed and prevail. - Me_AgainExplorer III

Actually, if you left out FCA and added the letter s to vehicle you would be closer to the truth. - theoldwizard1Explorer IIIMHO, all FCA vehicle have slipped in quality. They seem to have more electrical issues than average after the first 5 years.

Post like this one or about about any brand serve no purpose other than just stirrin' the pot.
And I doubt most of those "CARS" even have a tow rating or used by the masses for a tow vehicle.
Second time in as many days " STIRRIN THE POT " with the price of vehicles I would think you would want the most reliable, or are you just another one of the Ram Mafia that can't stomach the fact that you may have a less reliable vehicle.
I would think everyone would like to be as informed as possible about reliability with these expensive vehicles. I guess I am thinking wrong when I read a post like yours.
People seem to get offended when someone brings up issues about their beloved brand of truck, I don't get it.
From everything I am reading, and my experience, I have to believe the Ram is at the bottom of reliability, the emissions alone could be the main cause.. - Fast_MoparExplorerBack in the 90's my father bought a new Honda Accord because CR said it was the best, and at around the same time he bought a used Dodge Dynasty because it was cheap. The Dodge ran well for 150,000 miles until it was totaled in a wreck. The Honda needed a new transmission and new AC before 70,000 miles.
I have owned many Ford, GM, and Chrysler vehicles, and the Chryslers have been the most reliable, even though the CR crowd will never believe me. But, who really cares anyway? My biggest gripe with CR is that they will give a Camaro a low rating because the visibility is bad, and give a Corvette a bad rating because it rides rough. And, some years ago, they rated the Toyota Matrix high and the Pontiac Vibe low, even though they are exactly the same car. No, I do not have the month and date and issue number, but it does not matter anyway because the CR crowd would not believe it even if I did.
I do remember reading the issue where the Ram HD was given a low rating due to a rough ride. I guess according to CR, everyone in the world just needs to buy a Camry. - wilber1ExplorerConsidering how political polls have been working, I'm not sure how to take these surveys even though I don't dispute their data. My 2011 Ram has been excellent but it has less than 45,000 miles on it, mostly towing a 5th wheel. I received a JD Power survey for my 2013 Audi Q5 which has over 30,000 miles so far and has been flawless. I didn't fill it out however and I wonder how many others receive these things and don't bother with them.
- mrkojeExplorerIn my opinion trying to compare a brand that makes 4x4 diesel trucks in the same ranking as a manufacturer that doesn't make anything near as complicated or used as hard doesn't make much sense to me.
It's a apples/oranges comparison - rate 4x4 diesel trucks against other of the same and rate the Honda Accords etc amongst themselves as well. It's like comparing a Jeep Wrangler's ride to that of a GMC Acadia then saying the Wrangler's ride isn't as smooth. Of course it's not - it's a body on frame off road 4x4 of course the ride isn't as good. Try taking the Acadia up the side of a mountain!
