use of interior portable heater during storage

Anyone with experience using a portable electric heater during storage to prevent water line/tanks from freezing? Coastal Oregon If it would prevent freezing would be much simpler than winterizing...

air and antifreeze are your best defense against freezing. Heaters like to stop working, or sometimes they work too well and burn things down.

If you want to avoid winterizing, look for heated indoor storage.
